Final4

If you already follow me on my instagram: @angulo28blog, probably you have  already seen a picture of this outfit. If you were curious about it, don’t worry because today I’ll talk a little more in depth about it.

Usually, I don’t really use a lot of bright or pale colors, although lately everything blush pink has been calling my name. It is important to say that Rose Quartz was casually one of the two colors of the year for Pantone. This has brought this color back into the fashion industry as well as in the design world. And as I have seen its  because of its incredible versatility and power it transmits. But this doesn’t mean only this year it has been of great impact, remember Gwyneth Paltrow’s 1999 Oscar dress? Impossible to forget.

On today’s outfit, I tried to incorporate to pink garments into a really simple and functional outfit for a summer day. I based my outfit on a pink pleaded skirt, which by the way have been coming back to the fashion industry, which I combined with my favorite style garment, the plain white button up shirt, which in this case made my look a bit more casual.  As I was going to use this outfit just for a simple lunch with my friends, I decided to style this with a pair of tan Tory Burch Flats. To give this look a chic finish, I decided to add a necklace I received not so long ago from my friends at UniversiTee Box, in one of their subscription boxes, which by the way are really awesome. Finally as a compliment, I decided to use a pink Valentino purse to pull the outfit all together. If you are scared of including anything pink to your closet, I highly encourage you to leave that fear behind and take a plunge into this beautiful trend. You won’t regret it.
